For the last couple of weekends I have been working on my first mosaic Damascus knife. This has been a lot of fun to build. I was going for W’s but I messed up my C’s so rather than scrap it and start over, I just put that together. I like the pattern even though its not what I intended.
The handle is in progress now and is composed of brass, stabilized African Blackwood, and stabilized blue died Maple burl. For right now, I am waiting on the epoxy to cure (72 hours). Once that is done, I’ll get it shaped into a Wa handle.
I don’t think this one will hang around too long so keep an eye out for it hitting the store. It’ll be here first but posted to IG immediately after.
